William is at Redding Farm on the 1861 and 1871 Census. He is possibly employed as a Farm Servant at Side Farm, Avondale on the 1881 Census.
William is a Farmer at Wester Aldie, Fossoway and Tullibole, Perthshire on the 1891 Census. On the 1901 Census he is living at Ivy Cottage, Muirs, Kinross, employed as a Labourer at a Gas Works.
William died at Murray’s Royal Asylum, Perth on 4 March 1942, age 83. His usual address is given as Ivy Cottage, Muirs, Kinross.
