Archibald’s father’s name is not recorded on his birth record. On his marriage record his father’s name is given as Robert Ramage, Coal Miner. There is a Robert Ramage, Coal Miner, in Water Row, Dunfermline on the 1861 Census. He is 23 years old and the son of William Ramage and Alison Kirk. Robert married Mary Ann Skinner and had several children by her. They emigrated to the United States, Robert in 1879 and Mary Ann in 1881.

Archibald married Margaret Dick (b. Dunfermline, Fife c.1860), daughter of John Dick and Margaret Finlayson, in Priory Lane, Dunfermline on 2 July 1882.

Archibald and Margaret are at 75 Netherton Street, Dunfermline on the 1891 Census and at 150 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline on the 1901 Census.

Archibald died in the Cottage Hospital, Dunfermline on 28 July 1910, age 49. His usual address is 150 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline.

Margaret died at 164 Pittencrieff Street, Dunfermline on 16 May 1929, age 69.

John Keith, born in St. Leonard’s Place, Dunfermline, Fife on 2 August 1865.

John’s father’s name is given as Thomas Keith, Mason’s Labourer, on his record of marriage. No relevant person of that name can be located on the 1861 or 1871 Census.

John married Jane Stevenson (b. Beath, Fife on 7 June 1865), daughter of Alexander Stevenson and Ann Main, at 96 Golfdrum Street, Dunfermline, Fife on 12 July 1888

John and Jane are at 9 East Netherton Street, Dunfermline on the 1891 Census and at 54 St. Leonard’s Place, Dunfermline on the 1901 Census. John’s occupation is Damask Cloth Beetler.

John died in the Fever Hospital, Dunfermline on 19 August 1934, age 69.

Margaret Smith, born in Spittal, Dunfermline on 31 August 1868.
